During rugby season, I always try to catch a match during my travels through Europe. I used to play when I was stationed in Europe and really enjoyed it. It seems that once you play, you enter a fraternity of sorts with other rugby players.

Many years ago, I was introduced to Daniel Craig at a dinner in LA. We quickly discovered that we shared the rugby past and spent most of the night sharing war stories. Ever since then, we trade notes and pics when one of us is lucky enough to catch a match.

This year, Daniel and I were able to meetup in Berlin and watch some games over hte weekend. Daniel was about to start his broadway stint, so we both knew this would be the last chance to see some Rugby together.

While we were walking through Gendarmenmarkt Square to get some lunch, Daniel stopped me and pointed over to the steps of the music hall. On the steps were hundreds of little ice sculptures of people, all melting. It was quite a visual.

We asked around and discovered that the event was put on by the German Nature Fund to highlight climate change. It certainly got David and I talking about over lunch. I applaud the group for the creative approach to get their point across.
