Archer Group Names Derins VP for Strategic Portfolio Development

WILMINGTON, Del. — The Archer Group, Delaware’s largest agency focused exclusively on interactive marketing, has named Michael Derins vice president for strategic portfolio development.

Derins had been senior vice president and group account director for G2 Interactive in Hatboro, Pa., following that firm’s acquisition of Refinery Inc., where he had served as executive vice president and managing director.

Derins will be responsible for building meaningful, long-term strategic relationships with the Archer Group’s growing roster of local, regional and national clients.

“With his knowledge of internet strategies, understanding of client needs and recognition of the importance of personal service, Michael Derins is ideally suited to guide the Archer Group’s expansion as it continues to enhance its reputation as the premier interactive marketing firm in the region,” said Archer Group CEO Lee Mikles.

Derins, who holds a bachelor’s degree in eMarketing from Rutgers University, helped build Refinery into a 165-employee organization and brought such national brands as Campbell Soup Co., ARAMARK, GMAC, SunGard and Merrill Lynch into its portfolio.
