Wawa food markets operates in the Northeast and has a very loyal following. Within 2 weeks of publishing’s Wawa’s official Facebook page, the company had over 100,000 fans. The big hit for last year’s Hoagiefest were the songs we commissioned from Parry Gripp.
Building upon the success of last year’s Hoagiefest, we wanted to get Wawa’s fans involved. This year, we asked Parry for three more great songs, and opened it up to the fans to make their own songs or videos for voting by the public!
The flash microsite retained the 60’s music festival theme, complete with ‘Hoagieman’ flying throughout landmarks from Wawa’s geography. A social network engine was integrated to manage the uploading, publishing and voting of entries. The site features downloads of Parry’s music, ringtones, social network plug-ins and wallpapers.
The winning entries will win a year’s worth of hoagies or even their own Hoagiefest!
