As senior user experience strategist, Holly’s job is to make sure all the products Archer develops and delivers are easy to use. One aspect of her approach to strategizing a user-friendly experience is actually quite simple: “I always think of my mom and how she uses the Internet,” says Holly.
Of course, user experience strategy is not that simple. Providing an optimal user experience requires that Holly conduct comprehensive user research, including usability testing and contextual inquiry. She is also responsible for persona and wireframe development.
Before she joined us here at Archer, Holly worked at ING Direct and AIG. She studied finance and later earned her MBA at the University of Delaware, but she had the opportunity to go into user experience and took it. Once she delved in, she was sold on her new career path.
Like a true Archer, Holly’s work is also her passion — she’s currently developing a blog about UX. She’s not “all work and no play” though. Originally from the Poconos area, Holly loves the outdoors and natural surroundings that remind her of “home.”
