Speaking at the public opening of the Archer Group’s expanded Wilmington headquarters, Delaware Gov. Jack Markell called the interactive marketing and technology agency “the kind of business, with the kind of talent, that we want more of in Wilmington and in Delaware.”
The Archer Group, the largest independently owned interactive marketing and technology agency in the Philadelphia region, now occupies 10,615 square feet on the second, third and fourth floors of the newly renamed Archer Building at 233 North King Street in Wilmington.
Founded in 2003, the Archer Group has expanded steadily, more than doubling its work force to nearly 60 employees in the last three years. Its artists, web designers and technicians provide digital marketing solutions for an instantly recognizable roster of clients, including Wawa, Herr’s, JPMorgan Chase, Barclaycard, DuPont, U-Store-It, Pfizer, Comcast, Armstrong, Delta Dental, Appleton Estate, SunGard, Warner Brothers, and Artesian Water.
“This is tremendous, a great success story,” said Markell, who described the new office space as “awesome.”
U.S. Rep. John Carney recently moved his offices from a nearby high-rise onto the second floor of the Archer Building. “We moved our stodgy office to be here with exciting people like you,” Carney told Archer Group managers and associates during the opening event on Sept. 30.
