At the time of the “Be a Better Host” sweepstakes, we saw a quick and remarkable response from the Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum USA Page’s Fans. Over the four-week sweepstakes, per-post engagement increased by more than 110%, and the Page gained over 20,000 new Likes. And when Fans were still actively contributing to the Page weeks after the sweeps ended, we knew we had appealed to the right demographic and not users who were only interested in winning the great prizes.
